Earl loved country and bluegrass music and he built a stage and pavilion, and invited many famous performers in this area to play there including Loretta Lynn, Boxcar Willie, Hank Williams and Bill Monroe. To bluegrassers, the name Bill Monroe, the father of bluegrass, perks up our ears!
